The Streets of Ambitiousness

The Streets of Ambitiousness is third and final part in the Orlov Family History Trilogy. It tells story of my Papa Anton and his quest to make his comparethemeerkat.cart a city-wide success.

We shot the film on actual street where my Papa scratch out his living all those year ago. It was important to capture the grimy reality of the Moscow underworld so I sent Sergei there to do two months investigation with little money and clothes. I was expect him to be full of stories on his return, but he was mainly just staring into the distance and being very quiet.

This story was most emotional for me as I was playing my very own Papa at very important time in his life. Prepare your tears to be jerked with sorrow and then later with joy.
